Monstessori Trasitional Space in Kindergarten

Aligned with Montessori principles, school spaces should prioritize the child’s psychological well-being. A sense of place—particularly the transition from outside to inside—is essential for children to observe others, assess their interests, and prepare for new activities. This project introduces an intermediate space between the classroom and the farm, featuring pod seating for observation and storage areas that encourage children to independently change their clothing and footwear.  (Collaborator: Michael Wen)
