Fluid Sanctity: Reimagining Church and Spirituality

Fluid Sanctity is a speculative project that proposes the adaptive reuse of an underutilized church space as a multifunctional facility. With fewer people attending church services, this project explores how the building can continue to serve the community and offers alternative ways of experiencing spirituality. A water treatment plant, scuba-diving school, pool, and public restroom are incorporated, with the flow of water reflecting the church’s Baptist origins.
