Co-Corridor: Expanded Corridor for Affordable Co-Living


Located in an unpleasant site in Mott Haven, the Bronx, surrounded by truck-laden roads and air pollution, this project proposes an affordable housing layout that expands the corridor into an essential shared living space: an interior street. To accommodate different needs, three types of shared spaces are proposed: co-dining, co-playing, and co-working. With interior windows opening to the corridor, communal life flourishes in this isolated site.
